Hi my name is Hector I am originally from Mexico, I moved to Chicago when I was 14, I finished my studies and learned how to tattoo in Chicago where I live for 16 years, but I’ve been calling Columbus home for the last ten years. My tattooing career started as a hobby in 2003 right after I graduated high school but I’ve been tattooing professionally since 2011. My work reflects both passion and experience shaped by years of travel across multiple cities. I’ve been fortunate to win multiple awards in different cities, but for me, it’s always been about the craft and the respect that comes with it.Through out the years I’ve built a reputation for creativity, precision, and artistic expression.
I specialize in black and gray Chicano style tattoos but I’m proficient in many other styles including American traditional, Japanese, anime, neo-traditional and color pieces, basically whatever your idea may be im sure I can bring it to life in my own style.
I enjoy a laid-back lifestyle centered around the things I love most. When I am not tattooing you can find me grilling and spending quality time with family and friends, I value connection and making memories as much as creativity. I am a devoted animal lover, I own three cats and three dogs I also carry the nickname “Gato,” (Spanish for cat) given by my mother. Im also a huge fan of dragon ball Z.
At the end of the day, I stay loyal to the craft, the culture and the life that comes with it. I live it every day.
