American Traditional

American Traditional is a style of tattooing that is a throwback to classical Americana tattooing from the periods of the 1930s to the 1970s. Rallying under the battle cry that “Bold will Hold”, it is a style usually identifiable for its clean, bold, single-pass line work, minimal detail, and usually a limited array of colors (mimicking the only available colors of the era). This style tends to have a flatter appearance, but one that is a true American Classic.
